Tudy Merlin
Tudy (top left) and Merlin are a bonded pair and need to go to a home together.

About Merlin

I am very shy when I first meet you and it does take awhile for me to warm up, but once I do I love to talk. I also love other cats and dogs and am lonely if I am alone, so I must go into a home where I will have siblings. Preferably with my foster sister Tudy (see her bio below) as I have become really attached to her during the last year. I really look up to her and follow her lead. She has helped me come out of my shell a bit. I really love to eat any type of food you set in front of me. One thing you must know is I am FIV +, but it really has not affected me at all. I would really like a quiet home with my sister and with someone who will be patient with me while I become familiar with my new surroundings.

About Tudy
This very spunky little girl is a joy to be around. She loves to cuddle and hang out with her "foster" doggies. If she gets to know you, she will lay down by your feet and let you rub her belly. She learned this trick from her doggy siblings. She also learned to run to the door and greet you when you arrive home. Right now she is in a home with her best buddy Merlin and is awaiting a loving forever home where she and Merlin can continue to live together.
Why Two Cats Are Better Than One
Cats who have a playmate tend to be more socially well-adjusted and tend to overcome behavioral issues like shyness or being frightened. Also, cats need stimulation during the day like humans. In an owner's absence, two cats will keep each other company and will provide a source of comfort to one another. Another benefit to having multiple cats, especially if they are a bonded pair, is that they will entertain each other and get the necessary exercise that they need through play.
